FUNDRAISING CHAMPION VACANCY
at Reuben’s Retreat
Salary: £20,000 pa
Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Join us! We have a Fundraising Champion vacancy to join our expanding team here at Reuben’s Retreat! This is an exciting new role and will be an amazing opportunity for the successful candidate.
Reuben’s Retreat is a charity founded in memory of Reuben Michael Graham who died suddenly aged just 23 months after a diagnosis of a brain tumour. Reuben’s Retreat has been fortunate to purchase an incredible building in Glossop parkland, which will become our forever home. We are in the process of renovating the building and when completed it will become a home from home for families bereaved of a child and for families with children with life limiting or life threatening conditions.
This charity has a truly inspiring mission and the role offers the opportunity to join the team at a really exciting stage in its development. This role requires you to act as an ambassador for the work we do. You will need to capture the hearts and minds of corporate and community organisations and recruit other supporters by telling our story and developing a commitment to fundraise on our behalf.
To be considered for this wonderful and varied opportunity you will ideally have a background in fundraising with demonstrable experience raising funds. However we are willing to consider someone with some fantastic relationship or business development skills looking to make a move into the sector. Regardless of background, most importantly you should be a hard-working team player with an interest and enthusiasm for the wonderful cause of this inspirational charity.
You must hold a full UK Driving License and have access to a car.
