Supported Living Worker (20 hours/week)
Based at client’s home, Skegby
We are looking for a reliable, caring person to join an established team to help support a lady in her own home – including personal care, hoisting and gastrostomy feeding. You will support her to live as independently as possible, accessing services outside the home, and helping her to get the most from life.
You will need a full driving licence, and be ready to work as part of a team, committing to a flexible 24/7 rota.
Previous experience of working with adults with additional needs/ disabilities is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
- 20 hour/week contract
- Free full Care Certificate Training programme, with ongoing support
- Hourly pay for all training completed
- Sick Pay Scheme
- Pay £9.20 per hour, subject to a cost of living award yet to be confirmed.

Hoarding Clearance Service Operative
based at our Buxton office but covering Derbyshire
Casual staff, hours subject to service demand

Connex Community Support is a charity providing support to vulnerable people across Derbyshire’s Peaks and Dales. To help us remain financially sustainable and deliver help to those most in need, we operate a range of services run on a social enterprise basis. We are currently developing our Hoarding Clearance service, which tackles clearance and cleaning of the properties of people affected by Hoarding Disorder.
Due to the high level of demand for this service, we are now looking for bank staff who can help us out at times of high workload. We are looking for people who have an understanding of the sensitive issues around hoarding disorders. You should be fit, as the work will involve some heavy lifting. You will also require a full driving licence.
The role will sometimes involve clearance of unpleasant waste materials, so this role is not for the squeamish! In return you will receive full training and protective clothing, and will work in a small, happy and dedicated team.

Support Workers for Children and Young Adults – Tameside
We’re recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, experienced SUPPORT WORKERS to work for our service for children and young adults with an additional need or disability in Tameside. We are a small, caring, not-for-profit organisation, offering a range of working hours:
We are looking for people who drive, and can work flexibly in afternoons (after 3pm), evenings, early mornings (7-9am) and weekends. 10 – 16 hours a week after training. You will be required to work at least 1 weekend in 2.
We provide full, paid training and a DBS will be required.
Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking people who are reliable and caring, with some previous experience of children / young people / additional needs / disabilities. Drivers with business insurance preferred.
Salary: £8.91 to £9.20 /hour
