Services Support Officer, Readycall Macmillan

25 hours/week, based at our Ashbourne office.

FTE salary: £19,698. Actual salary for 25 hours: £13,309 per annum.

Readycall Macmillan is a long-established befriending and practical support service in the Derbyshire Dales. We help people whose lives are affected by cancer and other life limiting conditions.

We are looking for someone to support our Coordinator in delivering this valuable service. You must have strong administrative skills, be a team player and really care about people.

Support Workers, High Peak

We’re recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, experienced (preferred) Support Workers to work with children and adults with additional needs in the High Peak area.

You will be promoting independence and supporting clients to lead a life that is as fulfilling as possible by enabling them to participate in social based activities and day to day tasks.

We are looking for people who drive and have access to their own vehicle (Essential)

We are a small, caring, not-for-profit organisation, offering a range of working hours.  We are looking for staff who can work flexibly and are able to work ideally at weekends or at least every other weekend.

  • Free Full Care Certificate Training programme and support
  • Hourly pay for all training completed
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check paid for by us

Job type: part-time

Salary: £8.91 – £9.40 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

All Support Workers are required to wear PPE at all times when with clients and adhere to safe working practices.  We would expect staff to be participating in regular COVID-19 testing.
