Who do we help and how?
The Home Maintenance service is open to everyone and offers the following services in the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales:
We can also undertake adaptions to your home to improve access, including installation of grab rails, internal and external handrails and ramps.
Will it cost me anything?
Yes. The Home Maintenance Service is a charged for service, but run on a social enterprise basis. Any profit goes towards supporting our other charitable activities.
We offer competitive rates and peace of mind for you, as all our operatives are DBS checked, and we are members of Derbyshire County Council’s Trusted Trader Scheme.
For decorating and repair services, we will arrange an appointment to assess the job and put together a price estimate. There is no charge for the initial visit and there is no obligation to agree to the work. We will ask for a 50% deposit in advance with the remainder being payable on completion.
How do I get referred to the Home Maintenance Service?
Anyone can use the Home Maintenance Service, there is no need for a referral, just give our Home Maintenance Manager a call on 01298 23970.
Is there a minimum amount of work?
No, no job is too small and will be priced on a case by case basis.
How do I book the Home Maintenance Service?
Just contact us on the number below. We will then arrange a convenient time to visit you at home, introduce ourselves and discuss a plan of action once we have evaluated your needs.
