Connex Community Support is a charity dedicated to helping people in need.
We help older people, families, children and young people. We help them live safer and more fulfilled lives within their communities.
We understand what people need and how to provide it. Caring is at the heart of what we do and we respect the dignity of the people we support.
We help people to feel less isolated and to retain their independence, we work with people with disabilities and we support carers. We help people to build skills and confidence through volunteering. These are just a few of the ways that Connex Community Support can change people’s lives.
But don’t just take our word for it. Take a look at the video to see what the people we work with have to say.
The Sibling Support Group works with brothers and sisters of kids with disabilities. They come to the group to meet others in similar situations, share experiences, learn coping strategies and above all, have fun in a stress free environment, away from any pressures in their home life.

Connex Community Support – Fundraising Update…
We are delighted to say that we have finally reached our target for purchasing our new Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle! We will shortly be placing the order for the vehicle, which we hope to have ready to go for this autumn. The funds raised will enable us to purchase it outright, get it signwritten with our logo and cover the insurance and running costs for some of the first year.
We would like to thank the many private individuals who contributed – your generosity will make a real difference to the lives of older and disabled people in the Peaks and Dales. We are proud to have the support of such wonderful people!
