Support Worker – Older Adults

We are recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, caring Support Workers to provide care and support to older people in their own homes.

We are a CQC Good rated Care Provider and have been providing care to people in their own homes for over 20 years.

You will be required to assist with a variety of tasks including;

Providing support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
Assisting with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
Administering medication according to prescribed schedules
Providing first aid and emergency care as needed
Offering companionship and emotional support to individuals
Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Providing transportation for individuals to appointments or outings

No experience necessary- full training and mentoring offered.

Hours are on a structured rota system including morning, evening and weekend work.

Additional info/person specification:

Experience in senior care, hospice care, or childcare is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals
Compassionate and patient nature
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
