We are recruiting a Wellbeing, Advice and Support Service Coordinator at the Thomas Fields Independent Living Scheme in Buxton.
Connex Community Support is passionate about helping people live independently and well within their communities, and this role plays a key part in supporting residents to maximise their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
The postholder will provide one-to-one advice and guidance, arrange guest speakers and offer tailored signposting to practical, emotional and social support. The aim is to ensure residents feel confident, empowered and supported in their daily lives.

- Supporting residents at Thomas Fields Independent Living Scheme in Buxton
- Delivering 1:1 advice, guidance, and signposting
- Arranging guest speakers and wellbeing-focused activities
- Supporting older residents to maintain independence and quality of life
Hours, Salary & Contract
- 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 9:30am–1:30pm
- Salary: £29,456 per annum pro rata (actual £15,922)
- Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027, with extension subject to a new commissioner agreement
