Connex Community Support needs funding now to continue to deliver our Readycall service across the Derbyshire Dales. Our support is a lifeline to hundreds of vulnerable and isolated people.
This service delivers practical support such as shopping and befriending to hundreds of vulnerable people in the local community, as well as supporting people living with cancer and life limiting conditions. We provide subsidised transport for cancer-related appointments, and run a monthly women’s cancer support group.
We bridge an ever widening gap between what someone needs to remain living independently in their own home and what adult and social care services are able to provide. Without our support many people would be left in desperate need.
