Auction of Promises event – CANCELLED

We are delighted that Connex Community Support has been chosen as one of three beneficiaries of an ‘Auction of Promises’ event at the Dome, which is being jointly organised by Buxton Lions, the Rotary Club of Buxton and the University of Derby. The event will also be raising funds for Buxton’s Mountain Rescue Team and the Thomas Theyer Foundation.
The auction itself will take place at The Dome, Buxton, at 7pm on Saturday 28th March. Entry to the event is free, and drinks and snacks are available to purchase on the night, as well as an opportunity to bid for the promises being auctioned. It will be a great night out, and raise money for good causes at the same time, so do come along and support us!
For the ‘Auction of Promises’ event to be a success, we need offers of promises that can be auctioned – and that’s where you can help. You can access a ‘Promise form’ here which should be returned to our Trustee, Alan Thompson at alanonthego@outlook.com
The form gives some examples of promises that have been pledged in the past – have a look for inspiration. You may be a star at sewing, great at gardening or a whizz at washing cars! Whatever you can offer will be gratefully received.
Your completed ‘promise’ forms should be sent to Alan Thompson by Friday 21st February – or if easier, you can drop them into our Buxton office on 16 Eagle Parade, Buxton SK17 6EQ
