Why we need you?
Nature Prescriptions is an exciting new area of work for the RSPB. Having successfully proved that Nature Prescriptions helped people to improve their wellbeing through a stronger connection to nature in Scotland, we are now delivering them across England including across the Derbyshire Peak District where we are working with the Peak District National Park Authority supporting Social Prescribing Link Workers, Health Coaches and Support Workers to encourage their patients and clients to connect with nature.
We are looking for people who are knowledgeable and interested in how nature can improve people’s health and wellbeing; understand what nature connection is and be able to share their passion for this with healthcare professionals; and would be interested in developing and shaping this new volunteer role. If you can persuade people to start using Nature Prescriptions we can reach so many more local people.
