Buxton Library – Children’s Storytime Volunteer

Buxton library is a large sized library, located a short drive from the town centre serving customers in and around Buxton. We have a good sized children’s section and would like to utilise the space by arranging regular events to bring further customers in.

• Children’s Storytime Volunteer – We are looking for a volunteer, who could give us around one hour a week to read stories and sing songs (not required) with young children. Someone with a good sense of fun and enthusiasm to keep small children entertained for the session would be fabulous. Previous experience has shown that a morning session is the best – ideally Monday (but open to other days) as this was the day of the previous session, and generally got a good turnout.
